We have made it 2 weeks here in the Delaney house with our newest arrival! During that time we have had some eventful days and some very non-eventful days. Most of our time is spent napping, feeding/eating, playing with Anabelle, and rocking Charlotte; with a few fun outings and visits from friends thrown in there. My Mom was able to come and spend 3 days with us this week, which was a huge help. John was able to stay home the other 2 days, so I still haven't braved being alone all day. Although I did decide to try out to the grocery store today with both girls by myself. I know this doesn't seem like a huge deal, but I felt like it was a big accomplishment. They took it easy on me, Charlotte slept most of the time and Anabelle was on her very BEST behavior. They must have known that today was not the day to give Mom a hard time.
Charlotte is still up a lot during the middle of the night, so she and I have been camped out on the couch in the evenings. She hasn't made the jump to sleeping in the bassinet yet, right now I can get her to sleep swaddled on her boppy pillow next to me on the couch. During the day we try to lay her in her bassinet to get her more used to it. Hopefully she'll start sleeping in it soon and I can move back to sleeping in bed. Today we went to the doctors for her 2 week check-up and she weighed in at 7lbs. 7 oz.- just 1 oz more than her birth weight. She is on the slow side for gaining weight, so we are going to try and plump her up :) Everything else looked good, and she will go back to the doctor on March 25th for her first round of immunizations. Here are some pictures from our week:

I started pumping breast milk, so John got a chance to feed Charlotte for the 1st time.
Charlotte got a bath, she wasn't very happy about it.
Anabelle was happy to stand on a chair nearby and watch the action.
After her bath we took Charlotte up to her room to get dressed and she was really screaming a lot, my Mom snapped this great picture of Anabelle- apparently it was a little too loud for her :)
All dressed and warm again.
On Tuesday, we had some beautiful weather here, around 55 degrees, we decided to take a little walk.
John even pulled out the lawn chair for a little bit to soak up some sun.
I managed to snap a picture of Charlotte with her eyes open and not screaming.
Our 2 cuties, I love this picture!
