little feet

I've always wanted to do a "family portrait" of just our shoes. There is nothing cuter than little baby feet, and I love these baby converse. I bought them for Anabelle when she was a baby spending more than I like to spend on kids shoes and now Charlotte is wearing them. So glad I got them, they are adorable!

Loving Fall days and warm mugs of tea.

Anabelle got a box of goodies from Kiwi Crate, a gift from Marena and Adam. I love this color block art project- and so did she!

A trip to the Arboretum on a crisp cool day.

We drove out to NIU to get some caramel apples and had to visit the gargoyle and lagoon. Anabelle pronounces gargoyle- "goygargle" sometimes and it is fantastic! Love those sweet little tongue twists of children just learning the ways of language.

Nature walk

The girls and I came up with a list of activities that we wanted to do this Fall; one item the list is to go on a nature walk. Today was a beautiful day so we grabbed Grandma, bags to collect some things, and our sweaters and headed out into the crisp Fall air. 

We chose to walk a trail at the Arboretum.

At one point Anabelle was climbing a tree and left her bag unattended. Charlotte decided to seize the opportunity.
