It's been a little busy around here lately... John and I are just back from a long weekend in Park City Utah and we are now getting back into a normal routine. Since I had been busy preparing for the trip I hadn't blogged on the events of the weekend before so now I have some catching up to do.
Way back in the last weekend of July we had some celebrating to do as my mom turned 60! We had the family over for dinner and cake to celebrate. We had a nice meal together and mom seemed to enjoy her new camera, although we have yet to see her really use it =)
That evening Marena flew in for a quick visit. She is such a sweetheart, always knowing when I need a little boost and a visit from a best friend! We had a really good time chatting and playing with Anabelle. Monday Darcy and my mom joined Marena and Belle and I for a walk down town Naperville and lunch out. A day with the girls was just what we needed. We all had a fun day.
The rest of Marena's visit flew by in a blur of laughter, it was so nice to have her here. I am already looking forward to her next visit in September.

Hi Christy, thanks again for the fun Birthday dinner( delicious) and camera, I loved celebrating with the family, and the visit with "the girls " was just "the ticket" to make my day very special, it was such a fun time, and you really can't feel 60, when you're having fun with the girls,including, you and Anabelle, :-) Love Mom
I had so much fun! I jut love Anabelle to pieces and have the greatest time when I'm with you. I have a much better picture with me in it and will send it to you when I get Adam's computer back. Love ya! See ya in September (hey, that's next month).
