Grandma Sue & Grandpa Ken come to visit!

Going back into the archives here...
Over the summer we were blessed with a visit from John's family. We spent the days visiting with extended family, eating! (so much eating out- it was fantastic and at the same time I think my stomach is still recovering)  laughing, playing, driving (a 6 hour car ride to Michigan to visit Ken's Mom and sister) and overall just having fun.

We had a bar-b-que the 1st night that Sue and Ken arrived with some extended family. So fun to have everyone together!

The boys hoopin' it up! Little Dave, Big Dave, & John

Brian and Kenny take on Bess and Shannon in bags...

with a little help from Anabelle.

Anabelle and "Sham-mon"

Having a toddler means that we don't go more than a day or two without a trip to the park. Grandma and Grandpa got to join in on the fun too!

We took a little trip up to Michigan to visit Grandma Jackson and Aunt Joanne, Ken's Mom and Sister. It is always so nice to get to see them!

Grandma and Daddy took Anabelle to see her first movie in the theatre- Winnie the Pooh.

Sue and Ken couldn't come in for a visit without going to the Wisconsin State Fair. Dave and Bess decided to join us for a day filled with rides and (of course) eating!

Cream Puffs were the 1st stop- this is what pure joy looks like folks!

Even Charlotte joined in on the eating.

Next up was the Giant slide, I don't know who liked this more- Me or Anabelle?

A little face painting,

and tractor riding.

Chocolate covered bacon.

Krispy creme cheese burger.

Anabelle decided to try out the bungee trampoline. Mama was a little nervous, I don't think this poor guy ever had someone watch him so closely or ask so many questions.

She LOVED it!

Another ride on the giant slide with Grandma.

A great day, we love the fair!

Don't forget the corn!

Before we knew it it was time for Sue and Ken to head home, family visits are always too short. Such a busy, fun-filled, action packed week; I bet they needed a vacation from their vacation :)  We all had a great time- thanks so much for coming!
