We arrived in Nassau around 8 am on Saturday; the temp for the day was 100 degrees, but didn't feel too bad. After sleeping in and an early lunch it was time to get off the ship and do some sightseeing.
Here I am by our ship, there were quite a few ships at the port.
After making our way through the vendors and shops a few of us decided it would be a good idea to grab a drink and some food at Senor Frogs. This place is DEFINITELY a tourist hot spot, it was very crowded and cheesy. We still managed to have a pretty good time ;) Somewhere out there is a picture of me at the front of a long conga line getting a shot poured into my mouth, I'm sure it'll turn up at some point-probably around the time I am lecturing Anabelle on the dangers of drinking in a foreign country.
Needing a non-alcoholic beverage I decided to get a coconut from a street vendor. I love haggling, I was able to get her from $5 to $2!
Mom, Dad, Mikey, Steph, Lynda, Harris and I decided to hop in a taxi and take a little tour around the island. We stopped at a beach to do some swimming. The water was wonderful!!!
After a long day of shopping, sight seeing, drink tasting, and haggling it was time to head back to the ship. Here we are leaving Nassau.
